Comic Sans day
It's the first Friday of July and that means: Comic Sans day! On this day we put one of the most famous fonts in the spotlight. That's why we couldn't resist using this font ourselves.
The font style
The font was designed by Microsoft in 1994 and has not become less popular since then. We still see this font on our production floor every day! From flyers and posters to books, Comic Sans remains a widely used font. The design is based on the handwritten letters in the speech bubbles of comics. That's why they used the word Comic in the name!
When do you use Comic Sans
The playful and casual appearance of the font ensures that it is often used for informal printing. This font is not recommended for professional printing. But this font is certainly suitable for (birthday) invitations, cards or simple announcements!
