What is toner?

Inkjet printers use toners. The toners contain a powder that with coloring. These printers also use CMYK colors. The colors in the toners are therefore: cyan, magenta, yellow (yellow) and black (key).

How does toner (technology) work

Laser printers use an electrically charged roller. This role is negatively and positively charged in different parts. The toner powder sticks to these negatively charged parts. The electrically charged roller rolls over the paper and the powder ends up in the right place on the paper. The heat of the machine will cause the powder to stick to the paper and become a print.
