What is lamination?
Lamination at Print&Bind means that we apply a matt transparent foil to the paper. This finishing option gives your prints a matt appearance and provides extra protection. The lamination layer is scratch resistant and offers protection against splashes, dirt and moisture.
Coating or lamination?
Both a coating and a lamination layer add to the appearance of prints and provide extra protection. The main difference lies in the kind of look it gives: a coating layer is glossy, while a lamination layer has a matt appearance.
