What are white edges?

White edges are small white edges that arise around a print when these have a page-filling design, but are not ordered as "borderless" print. White edges can also originate from uploading a document that has a different length-width ratio that the ordered size.

When a document like this, that has a page-filling design, is not ordered borderless, there will be white edges around the document after printing.
