Everything about our printing process
Once you have placed your order, we will immediately start the production process. But how exactly does that happen? And how do we manage to keep our prices so low? We are happy to explain it to you!
The Process
The printing and production process can easily be divided into four steps. But of course much more happens within each step!
Ordering: When placing your order, fill in all the necessary information and check your file in the preview. This information is of great importance for our production process. By specifying the sizes and finishes, our system can accurately calculate how we can make optimal use of the paper. We always aim to print as much as possible on one sheet, so we save paper and minimize waste. Are you in doubt about something? Then our customer service is ready to help you every day!
File Check: Have you opted for an extensive check? We will then thoroughly go through your file, paying attention to margins, resolution, dimensions and finishing. But other orders are also checked before they go to the printer. Our system determines the most efficient way to print. Does the system have doubts about certain settings? The order then ends up on our checklist, where we pay extra attention to, for example, the correct rotation of the front and back.
Production: The most important part is of course producing your order! Your order goes through several stations before it reaches your doorstep. The process starts with the printers, where we ensure that the paper is used as efficiently as possible, so that as little waste as possible is created. We keep the printers running continuously and bundle orders with the same paper types to keep costs low.
After printing, your order goes to the correct finishing station: robot cutters, folding & stapling, cutting machines, wire-o, perfect, laminating and more. Many orders pass through multiple stations. For example, by producing in bulk we can cut several orders of the same size at the same time, which helps to further reduce costs.
Shipment: When your order has gone through all the necessary production steps, it will be sent to the rounding tables. Here the order is carefully checked, sealed and then packed. Depending on the shipping method chosen, the package will end up on the correct postal cart. These carts are then offered to the right carriers, so that your package is delivered as quickly as possible!
