Unlock PDF or delete password

How do I remove the password protection from my PDFs?

1. Open the PDF file in Acrobat.

2. Go to the "All tools" menu and select "Edit a PDF".

3. In the left pane, choose "Remove Security"

Depending on the type of password protection that is set, you have different options:

• If the document only has an open password, select "OK" to remove the password.

• If the document has a permissions password, enter this password in the "Enter Password" field and select "OK". Confirm again with "OK" to complete the action. You can now edit the PDF.
